Eastern Kentucky University’s Orientation Program is a requirement for all new students. A new student is any student attending college for the first time or a transfer student with twelve hours or less. Students that will be taking classes at the EKU Corbin Campus must attend an Orientation session at the Corbin Regional Campus. Orientation will help you get off on the right foot for your college career. During Orientation, you will take a tour of the Corbin Campus, meet the Corbin staff, receive 1:1 advising and register for classes, learn important information, and meet other future Colonels. The Colonel Commitment fee is $200 flat; there is no guest fee for EKU orientation! You may elect to defer the Colonel Commitment fee to your account by emailing jeff.durham@eku.edu. Orientation sessions last for approximately three hours. Parents/Guardians are welcome, but not required to attend.
